Personal History Portfolio

This Is Mr Bossman's Archive
Welcome to my personal archive — part journal, part resume, all real. Here’s where my journey, experiences, and creative work live.
Meet Jin.
I'm Jin, a curious mind with a passion for self development. Whether it’s engineering, boxing, exploring new ideas, or building something from scratch, I thrive on creativity, intention, and growth.
I believe life’s greatest asset is momentum — and this portfolio is a snapshot of mine. Every project I take on is part of a larger story, driven by purpose and always in motion.
Education 📕
2023-present
Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering
Monash University
The kind of degree where you learn how the world actually works, from machines to materials to math you’ll never use. I got hands-on with tools like SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design, and learned how to turn ideas into working systems.
2022-2023
Monash University Foundation Year
Sunway University
A prologue to everything that came after — a time of discovery, late nights, and learning how to juggle responsibility with freedom. It was my first real taste of adulthood aside from assessments and assignments.
2017-2022
Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia
SMK Subang Utama
a classic public school experience where life was simpler, more structured, and mostly about the basics. It was a time of uniforms, homework, and learning the rules of the world one subject at a time. Looking back, it was a naive but necessary chapter.
Projects.
A glimpse into what I’ve built, explored, and enjoyed along the way

WEIR WARMAN competition 2025
A wild ride from concept to chaos — the Weir Warman Competition was my crash course in real-world engineering.
While the project didn’t go as planned, it taught me more than any clean success could have. From welding and drilling to sawing, 3D printing, and laser cutting, I picked up hands-on skills at every turn. It also sharpened my ability to make fast decisions under pressure — sometimes right, sometimes wrong, but always a learning moment. In the end, I walked away with something more valuable than a trophy: experience that sticks.

Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate
Passed with distinction (235/240), this certification demonstrates my ability to create precise 3D models, interpret complex drawings, and solve real-world mechanical design problems using SOLIDWORKS. It reflects hands-on skill in part modeling, assemblies, drafting, and decision-making under timed pressure.

Automated Colour Pencil Packager
This project was designed to sort and package colour pencils using a combination of air pneumatics, basic electrical circuits, and automation logic. We built and modeled the system in SolidWorks, while its operation was programmed and simulated through Automation Studio. Through the process, I gained hands-on experience with pneumatic actuators, control flow design, and translating automation code into real-world mechanical behavior.
Beyond the Projects.
From school halls to student councils, I’ve stepped into roles that challenged me to lead, listen, and grow. Each position taught me something new about people, responsibility, and impact.

Monash University Foundation Year 2023/1 - President
Serving as MUFY President was more than a title — it was a year of navigating challenges, expectations, and everything in between. From orientation to prom, talent shows to spirit weeks, I was involved in leading and organizing events that shaped the student experience. The role tested my ability to balance responsibility with personal growth, and taught me how to lead with both structure and empathy — even when things didn’t go as planned.

Monash Business Club 2024/2 - Secretary
As Secretary of MBC, I had the opportunity to experience handling documents, coordinating schedules, and keeping everything running smoothly across platforms like Google Drive, Notion, Sheets, and more. Beyond the spreadsheets, I had a blast helping bring events like Lights Out, Quest for Atlantis, and student bazaars to life. More than anything, the role connected me with amazing people and showed me how good structure makes great ideas happen.
